Ours was one of the 62 semi-finalist ideas that made it through one of three initial rounds of voting in the Aviva Community Fund competition. A final round of voting takes place Dec. 2-16, after which the 25 ideas with the most votes proceed to the judging round. We are confident that SMARTRISK’s idea to bring its No Regrets peer leadership program to 250 high schools across Canada in 2010 is strong and fits all the Aviva criteria for funding. But we need your help to reach that judging round. Considering that the 62 ideas up for votes were tops among 1,900+ ideas submitted, we anticipate the competition will be tough!
